About me

My story in photography begins in 2020.

In March 2020, the pandemic began and everything closed in Portugal, my activity until now was managing local accommodation, and as such it was an activity directly impacted by the total shutdown of the world. Initially, I thought it would take 3 months for everything to going back to normal and I would return to my every day as a manager of local accommodation. The months passed and I still didn't have my accommodations occupied. I've always liked photography, I came into contact with it without ever having studied it and just appreciating the aesthetic part of the art. As the months piled up and my frustration grew, I decided that I would take an online course and dedicate my vital energy to a hobby that gave me pleasure, something that I was passionate about. That hobby was photography.

I bought my first camera, a Sony a6300, and what a beautiful camera it was. Soon he began experimenting with focal lengths and lens apertures, without understanding the difference between a full-frame or aps-c sensor. After many hours of learning on YouTube, and following people who inspired me, I charted my path and explored this art that is photography.

In 2022 I took an Audiovisual Production course at IPCI, which allowed me to start my career as a filmmaker to this day.

DaWall comes from the desire to create a purpose to take me to travel more and in a way share what I'm passionate about with people who like my photography.
